The Series Area identifies the top children’s series. A to Zoo™ contains nearly 2,000 subject categories from the popular title. Kid’s Corner highlights various children’s titles, and Fun Places to Go provides links to book-related Web sites for kids and parents.

The Forthcoming Book Room – allows users to search for book, audiocassettes, and videos released during the current month or due to be published in the next six months. You and your patrons can search by author/contributor, title, subject, keyword, binding, review, and media source. Searches may also be limited to price range, audiences, and new releases of previously published titles. Hot New Releases gives release dates and street dates for the most anticipated new titles, while Award Winners features new releases of previous award winners. The Bestsellers area of the Forthcoming Book Room identifies new editions of previous bestsellers. And our Subject Spotlight area lets users find forthcoming titles by specific subjects.

In the Media – Our new In the Media area lets users search for titles mentioned in 14 top media sources, including: Oprah Book Club, Oprah Winfrey Show, The Today Show, Time Magazine, Parenting Magazine, and more. Search by Author/Contributor, Keyword in Title, Keyword in Author, and Mentioned Date, as well as Media Source. Browse Media Sources to view all titles mentioned in or on that source. For example, see all titles mentioned on National Public Radio by month and year starting in January 2000.

Bowker’s™ Hooks to Holdings™ - allows libraries with Z39.50 compliant catalogs to let their professionals and patrons search the library’s catalog directly from booksinprint.com. Not only can librarians and patrons determine the availability and location of books already in the library’s collection; they can also find titles that they would like to add to the collection.

Order Download – gives libraries and bookstores the ability to download records in formats that are easily uploaded into their library automation system or point-of-sale system for ordering.
